Fluorescent Violet Polyethylene Microspheres 1.06g/cc - 150um to 300um
Description
Bright fluorescent violet microspheres are supplied in dry powder form and specifically designed with density of 1.06g/cc.
Mass density of whole blood at 37 ªC is 1.06g/cc (1060 kg/m3).
Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes.
Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.

Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions.
They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
This product is also available suspended in 20% aqueous solution as Density Marker Beads.
