Fluorescent Polyethylene Microspheres - Clear in Daylight, Yellow-Green in UV Light - 10um to 1200um (1.2mm)
Description
When applied in a thin layer, these color-changing polyethylene microspheres appear translucent or almost invisible on the surface.
However, when illuminated by 365nm UV light they exhibit a strong fluorescent response and appear brilliant yellow-green.
This feature is very useful in doing experimentation and blind tests especially in medical technology industry, diagnostics, troubleshooting, process flow, medical research and other industries.
These spherical particles are designed to act as a hidden process tracer, for situations when it is advantageous to hide the fact that you have fluorescent particles on the surface and to be able to illuminate them on demand.

The spheres are supplied in dry powder form.
Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions.
They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water.
We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
