Description
Bright fluorescent blue microspheres are supplied in dry powder form.
Controlled particle size ranges enable investigation of maximum particle size passing through the openings, filters and membranes.
Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.
These fluorescent particles are also available dispersed in aqueous solution as Density Marker Beads.

· Density: 1.10-1.14g/cc (Mean Density),Density Tolerance +/-0.01g/cc
· Daylight Color: Blue
· Fluorescent Response: Peak emission of 445nm when excited at 407nm
· Particles in Size Range: > 90%
· Spherical Particles: > 90%
Polyethylene microspheres are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions.
They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water.
We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants.
